Red Hat System Administration
Red Hat System Administration I (RH124) is an entry-level course designed for IT professionals who are new to Linux and want to build foundational skills in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). It provides the essential knowledge required to perform core administration tasks and prepares learners for further Red Hat training and certification.
Red Hat System Administration II (RH134). The Red Hat System Administration II (RH134) course builds on foundational Linux administration skills, focusing on advanced topics required to manage and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems in professional environments.
The course emphasizes practical, hands-on experience with essential system administration tasks. Students learn to configure and manage local storage and file systems, implement advanced file permissions and access controls, and manage users and groups effectively. Networking concepts are explored, including network configuration, troubleshooting, and basic security measures.
The course also covers system monitoring and performance tuning, ensuring that systems run efficiently and reliably. Students gain skills in automating routine tasks using shell scripting and Ansible, streamlining administration across multiple systems.
The curriculum includes practical exercises in managing services, securing systems, performing backups, and recovering from common failures, preparing learners for real-world challenges in Linux system administration and laying the groundwork for Red Hat certification.
This course is based on Red Hat® Enterprise Linux 10.
